LAST UPDATED · 2026-05-14
Minebright Inc. ("Minebright," "we," "our," "us") operates pitinfo.com ("the Site") to describe Pit Info, our mine-to-mill reconciliation software. This Privacy Policy describes what personal information we collect through the Site, why we collect it, and what we do with it.
By using the Site or submitting our contact form, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Information we collect
We collect personal information in two ways:
- Information you give us through the contact form. Name, work email, company or mine site name, role, and the message you enter. The form is processed by Formspree (see Section 3).
- Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our analytics providers may automatically collect IP address, device and browser information, referring URL, pages viewed, and timestamps. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
2. How we use your information
- Respond to your contact request and arrange a working session.
- Send follow-up emails about your enquiry.
- Understand how the Site is used and improve it.
- Measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns, including paid search campaigns run through Google Ads.
- Comply with legal obligations.
3. Third-party processors
We rely on the following processors. Each operates under its own privacy policy:
- Formspree — receives and forwards contact form submissions to our team. Operated by Formspree Inc. See formspree.io/legal/privacy-policy.
- Google Analytics 4 + Google Ads (via Google Tag Manager) — measures Site traffic and ad-campaign conversions. Operated by Google LLC. See policies.google.com/privacy.
- Cloudflare Pages — hosts and delivers the Site. Operated by Cloudflare, Inc. See cloudflare.com/privacypolicy.
4. Cookies and tracking
The Site uses cookies and similar technologies through Google Tag Manager. These cookies are used to measure traffic, attribute conversions to ad campaigns, and improve the Site. Where required by applicable law (including in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom), we obtain consent before non-essential cookies are set.
You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time. Doing so may limit some functionality of the Site.
5. Legal basis (EEA / UK visitors)
Where the General Data Protection Regulation or UK GDPR applies, we rely on the following legal bases:
- Consent — for non-essential cookies and analytics.
- Legitimate interest — for responding to your contact request and measuring Site performance.
- Legal obligation — where applicable.
6. Data retention
Contact-form submissions are retained as long as we have an active commercial conversation with you, and for up to twenty-four (24) months thereafter for follow-up. Analytics data is retained per the defaults of Google Analytics 4 (currently fourteen months) and may be deleted earlier on request.
7. International transfers
Personal information may be processed and stored in countries other than your own, including the United States and Canada. We rely on the standard contractual protections offered by our processors.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, port, or object to our processing of your personal information. To exercise any of these rights, email [email protected]. We will respond within a reasonable period and in accordance with applicable law.
9. Children
The Site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under sixteen (16) years of age.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
